Terms of use

The service. Dokimion is a software check of part geometry for additive manufacturing and a cost estimate, with an optional paid engineer review. The result is an engineering assessment based on the part mesh and published process rules, not a guarantee that the part will print and not a replacement for slicer preparation and a test piece.

Independence. The controller sells neither printing nor equipment and receives no payment from equipment makers for recommendations in the report.

Your files. You remain the owner of the model you upload. You grant us the right to process it for the service. We share it with no one except the processors named in the privacy policy. After 30 days the file is deleted. We may keep the anonymous report, without your data and without the file, to improve the tool; your model is never published.

Free and paid. The first three checks a month per email address receive the full report free of charge. Further checks, the engineer review and licences are paid per the price list in the application, by card, before delivery. Payment is handled by Paddle as merchant of record, which applies tax per the rules of your country and emails the invoice.

Engineer review. Delivered as a signed written comment and a 30 minute call within 48 hours of payment, on working days. If the deadline cannot be met you are notified and may ask for a refund.

Refunds. The report is digital content delivered immediately; by paying you agree to delivery before the withdrawal period ends. If the report was not produced because of an error on our side, the payment is refunded in full.

Liability. The service is provided as is. The controller's liability for damage arising from reliance on a report is limited to the amount paid for that report or review. The production decision is yours.

Acceptable use. Do not upload files that are not yours or that you have no right to use, do not send automated requests without an API licence, and do not attempt to access other people's data.

Law and venue. The law of the Republic of Serbia applies and the court in Belgrade has jurisdiction, except where consumer rules of your country provide otherwise.
