Why Dokimion
We sell no printing and no machines, so we tell you when machining is better.
FDM, SLA, SLS and metal from the same part, with the same A to E score.
Every threshold has a source, every assumption is marked. Code does the measuring, AI only writes the conclusion.
When you need certainty, an expert reviews the part within 48 hours.
Who it is for
For people who decide before a part is made.

Common questions
What does Dokimion do?
Dokimion is an independent check of a part for additive manufacturing. You send a 3D file and get a score from A to E, the problems marked on the part, three suggested positions and a cost estimate per part, for FDM, SLA, SLS and metal.
Which file formats can I upload?
STL, STEP and 3MF, up to 100 MB.
Is it free?
The first three parts a month per email address get the full report at no charge. After that a report costs 19 € per part, or 10 for 120 €. An engineer review costs 190 € per part.
Who can see my files?
Files are kept for 30 days and shared with no one. Reports are kept so you can open them again.
Does AI check my part?
No. The measuring is done by code, and every threshold has a source. AI is used only to help write the short conclusion from those measurements.
Do you sell printing or machines?
No. Dokimion is independent and sells neither printing nor equipment, so the report can also say that another technology or machining is the better choice.
Dokimion is Greek for a test specimen, the piece tested before production. The mark is a layered specimen.
